Greetings From the Fair Board!

Welcome to the 118th edition of the Roseau County Fair. The fair continues to grow and improve with each year. As a
board we believe our fair is one of the best county fairs in the state.

We have a full line up planned for the grandstand, starting with Church Night at the fair on Sunday July 20th, which will bea motivational speaker and author Reggie Dabbs put on by the Roseau area ministerial association. Tuesday night will feature the Northern Pullers Tractor Pull. The tractor pull will have multiple classes including farm, improved and super classes of vintage tractors with weight classes from 3,500 lbs. to 9,500 lbs. Wednesday night will feature professional wrestling put on by Destination Pro. In the ring will be several local professional wrestlers. Thursday is the tenth year of Bush car races that keeps growing in both drivers and spectators. Friday is the fan favorite demolition derby, which will feature a new class of a school bus demolition derby.

Free entertainment will feature Dino Encounters which is an interactive display that will take spectators back to the age of volcanos and dinosaurs. They will have three performances per day where they will educate and entertain the crowd about the prehistoric age. We have also booked the Kids Bucks Game Show which is a thrilling game show where randomly selected members of the audience participate in wild and crazy games. The winner gets to enter the “Kidbuck$” chamber and grab as my “Kidbuck$” as possible as they swirl around the chamber. Both of these acts will be north of the soybean play area. Strolling the grounds will be Rusty Gears Robot. Rusty Gears is far too dynamic to call a mere “robot”. This robot has personality! He amazes people with his hilarious, interactive conversation and more! The power wheels derby will have qualifying rounds on Wednesday, Thursday and finals before the demolition derby in front of the grandstand. Returning to the fair from Tuesday through Thursday is Annandale Paintball which will be located just south of the midway.

Our head of maintenance Jim Mack and his assistants Ethan Vasko and Cael Mack have been busy making improvements across the grounds. With 25 buildings on the fairgrounds, it takes a lot of time just to keep up on all maintenance on all these different buildings. A major project we completed in June was leveling and putting the posse horse barn on a concrete foundation. The poles on the barn were slowly being pushed out of the ground by frost, so the poles were cut the building moved, concrete foundation was poured and building moved back and set down and attached to foundation.

The fair board has adopted the following policy on pets:
With the exception of service animals or animals approved as part of an exhibition, pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds during the Roseau County Fair.

This policy was adopted to lessen problems with barking dogs near the livestock exhibits. This policy is consistent with
other county fairs and the Minnesota state fair. Be aware service animals are only dogs or mini horses that are trained to do a specific task for a person with a disability. Service animals are not emotional support animals of any type.

The Fair board is proud of the events we put together for the 2025 fair and we will continue to present the best fair
possible for Roseau County residents. Hope to see you all at the fair!

Remember, make fair week, vacation week!
